This morning i noticed my HDM was cutting circles as ovals, and after looking around i noticed the right side coupler was broken, not sure exactly how that happened.
So this is now causing that side to slip, i already contacted Carbide, but in the meantime, is there anywhere i can get a replacement quickly? I see McMaster has some, but i’m not sure is any are compatible with the HDM, any help is appreciated, thanks!
Did you have a crash that broke the coupler?
I would remove both steppers and couplers and turn the ballscrews by hand, just to check for any binding of the screws or rails.
Might be a good opportunity to clean and re-lube both screws and rails.
