Buddhist Dharma wheel

I shared a version of this project in the past, but thought I would post my latest iteration (the fourth version I’ve made all together; and my personal favorite).

It’s an artwork based on the “turnings” (or evolutions) of Buddhist thought and practice.

Tons of different woods in this piece — bubinga, white oak, maple, amboynya burl, Bolivian rosewood, leopardwood, and walnut.

Turned out pretty large — 29” x 20” with the frame.
