While messing around with the Drill toolpath, I noticed my estimated time was changing on me. It turned out that the Peck Distance parameter was resetting itself anytime I opened the Edit Tool dialog and clicked OK. The attached video demonstrates what I mean. If you click Cancel on the Edit Tool dialog, the Peck Distance is preserved. This is version 778 of CC, but I just downloaded beta 813 and confirmed the bug exists there too.
