C3D VFD won't start

I used my SO5 last night and all was fine. I came out today and go to run a job and the spindle won’t start. I reinitialized it, turned everything off and back on, shut it all down and even unplugged everything. There is no error message in CM. I know little to nothing about VFDs but I did notice that if I press the JOG button the spindle starts to spin. Pressing the >> button I see the V values as 4.78, 0.0, & 177.6.
I tried some of the steps I found in the forums and /M3S18000 does nothing. The log shows:

I don’t speak GRBL so I don’t know what that means though.

I also checked the voltage on the spindle output and I do see 3.3VDC for a M3S18000 and 4.96VDC for 24000. It drops to .127VDC when I send M3S0.

Any suggestions?

Let us know about this at support@carbide3d.com and we’ll work out how to handle it.

Thanks Will. Just sent the email. Didn’t think you would still be in the office this late.

I’m remote staff — also don’t have a VFD, so this will have to wait until someone who has experience with this can speak to it.
