Can't Open C2d files from Cut Rocket

Whenever I download a C2D file on Cut Rocket file it will not Open. How can I find out what version was used for the file downloaded. I have Version V8 853

Older files will not open with V8. You need to open them in V7, save and then open them in V8

I have downloaded files from 2019 on the same day and they open just fine. Still don’t understand why a newer file won’t open vs an 2019 c2d file

What version a given file is, is determined by what app version the user used when making it, not when it was uploaded.
