Hi Everyone
I have the free version of carbide create pro
I can make a design, stimulate it, everything looks good
In tool path i try to click on design but there is no highlight change to the design edges, but anyways i click on save G code to documents
Then i open up candle and load the program.
Once the program loads into candle screen.
There is no real X Y Z moves just a bunch of random numbers and words and symbols like dashes , perenthises
For some reason im not generating G code
Watching you tube vids, when you enter tool path mode you click on design lines and they become highlighted, but in my case there is no highlighting happening, does anybody have any suggestions as to why i cant highlight my design in tool path mode.

Are you sure you’re not sending a .c2d file?
Please post the files in question and let us know step-by-step:
- what you did
- what you expected
- what actually happened
and we’ll do our best to work through this with you.
Check your post processor, it is located under the menu “Edit”. There are four possible choices, Shapeoko, Nomad, GRBL and Generic Gcode.
You have to save in two places, first is the Carbide Create File and secondly the gcode. If you have to make changes of an object you have to resave the gcode and then save the Carbide3d application file.
