Carbide 3D Packaging

I’m really amused at how well these cutters come packaged

Imagine a scenario where somebody is frustrated with a cutter, someone walks in, a couple $20s change hand, and one of these tins comes out of his pocket and he slides the lid open showing two brand new cutters, like it was black market and about to make his day way better

I can imagine someone asking me for a breath mint if I was holding one of those cases.

When I first got one it made me think of the A Team van for some stupid reason. I went and looked for pictures of the van and turns out it isn’t quite as flashy as the can.

That is hilarious and totally worth the visit here today. Thank you.

I have the Freud Shaker adjustable router bit set for making cope and stick cabinet doors. I ordered the add on for making extended tenons and glass doors. When it came the Frued package had one of the carbide cutters come loose in shipping. It chipped the carbide cutter. I sent it back to Amazon and they replaced it. The new one was loose but was not chipped so I kept it. Some bit manufacturers could learn from C3D.

The problem with the Frued packaging is it is just a friction fit in the large plastic box. Since UPS drags most of my packages behind the truck to deliver them.

I wrote a review on Amazon and they did not like my review so they refused it. So in the future I will not be reviewing anymore Amazon purchases. This is not the first time Amazon has refused my reviews. Obviously they dont like what I have to say and I dont like what they have to say in response. FYI Walmart usually beats Amazon prices on woodworking items.

True about ups dragging packages

I was worried that was how my Shapeoko was gonna come, but I think it would have stalled the truck

That driver asked me for help getting it off the truck, so it was fine lol

Packaging is everything when it comes to getting your stuff
