I like the feature on V-7 of Carbide Create where it shows you a sample of the Font from the drop down.
I have quite a few fonts loaded on my computer running V-7. But I have noticed that
when I select different fonts for a project quite a few of them look the same when used in a project.
Even though the preview shows a different style. Has anyone else noticed this.
First thing to check is that your computer’s font cache isn’t corrupted — reboot and see if the problem persists.
If it does, please post a file which shows this difficulty.
This may not be your problem but the last font selected is by default the one that is populated in the Text tool. You can move down the list of fonts but you must select the desired font you want and see that the name is populated in the font edit screen.
I am not sure but some have had problems with some of their fonts not showing up that are installed on their system in the list. I think the answer was CC prefers TrueType fonts over others. You can search the forum to see if that is true. So far in Windows 11 I have not had your problem.
