We just posted 875 on the beta page.
(NEW) Better support for 16-bit heightmaps
(FIX) Cylinders with rounded ends now enforce tangency, rather than radius at a particular point.
(FIX) Long, narrow models (like guitar necks) rendered with large jagged facets in the model view.
(FIX) The library’s indexing progress window kept reappearing when closed, could crash, and its progress bar jumped to the end.

Oh yeah, that Tangency change to the Cylinder model visually feels so much better!

Another quirk I came across: attempted to create an outline of the test cylinder model to generate some toolpaths but the Create Outline Vectors function does not appear to work with it. Should it work? Will it work?

In what way did that not work?

It simply does not create a vector outline of the generated model - tried multiple times with different height levels.

OIC.
Seems to be a bug. Until it’s fixed, export the pixel image, then reimport to trace:
EDIT: Note that the defect is caused by the subtraction.
and then scale and position to match.
