Carbide Create and Inkscape cloned arrays

I am designing a wasteboard and have created an array of tiled clones of cut circles in Inkscape. However when I import the svg into CC, it only recognises/displays the first object in the array, that is the one I used to create the clones.

Other objects, for example ones I have Ctrl+D duplicated, all display OK.

I don’t want to have to copy-and-paste 300 or so objects. What’s the trick?

Found it. In Inkscape, I had to unlink the clones from the original:

Edit → Clone → icon Unlink Clone ( Shift + Alt + D ): Remove link between clone and original object. Clone will no longer update when original object is modified.
