You’re right, this is a function of the chosen Accent Color. But this has never been an issue before. Why? Because every other place the Accent Color is applied, the enclosed text turns white!
Some of the other color choices allow more visibility but I’ve been using this color for 35 years. Plus, the choices allowing more visibility over black are less contrasty over the white which appears in all other cases.
Anyway, not a big deal, happy to have the pane permanent. Agree with Ed.E about using the same BG color as the rest of the panel.
Is the ‘write tool to g-code’ essentially doing this feature request I made? I’ve not had, and won’t have, the opportunity to cut anything for the next week to check myself so I ask instead.
The Layers Panel is awesome. Can you add it to the toolpaths tab as well? If real estate is an issue can a hide\show menu button be added?
An interesting “feature” with the layers now(at least in my layouts) is that if you have a duplicated\copied item that is stacked on top of another the Default(Black) layer is on top of the additional item that may belong to another layer color. This situation usually doesn’t cause any issues because I don’t assign a toolpath for the Default group but it will make cleaning up extra items a lot easier.
Ramping rounds up to 0.1". I want to ramp a 12" circle & need 0.05 or less
Max depth could use an extra decimal point. I frequently use 0.0001" to represent 0.0, the interface changes it back to 0.000 and then won’t generate the toolpath.
V-Carve: If you don’t specify a pocket tool, you can’t edit it back in. If you do specify a pocket tool, you can’t turn it off. (You can disable it, but the Vee path is different).
Path recalculates when no changes have been made. ?? It’s pretty quick, but on much larger paths this is a waste of time.
