It looks like some of the default tool path settings in CC are way off (at least they appear to be to me). If you select acrylic, the settings for a 102 cutter defaults to 0 for DPP, and the other settings seem really aggressive. If you switch to 112 the DPP goes to .001 which seems way overly conservative and would make cutting take an eternity. Whats going on there?

Just to follow up on myself here, based on some experiments and looking around it appears that the default settings for acrylic (except for stepover) are all off by a multiple of 10…
