Any news on when we can start playing with Carbide Create?. I’m itching to try it!!!

No. Which private list?. I thought you had to be invited.
It was my understanding that there was a mailing list for information about Carbide Create and that one could apply to the private beta through that request.

What is Carbide Create, anyway?
It is a CAD/CAM program being developed by Carbide3D for use w/ the Shapeoko and Nomad.

It sounds like a fused 2.5D CAD/CAM program much like Vectric Cut2D and VCarvePro.

I signed up for the Beta, got the email to confirm, but when I confirm, it doesn’t give me anything to download. Is there a way to get in on this beta?

SheetCam doesn’t have any CAD capabilitites. It takes DXF, SVG, HPGL etc. as input files but there are no editing capabilities within SC.

Hehe, guess there was a lag in the email reply. I had checked last night in my inbox and junk folder and didn’t see anything, but only checked my inbox today but didn’t recheck my junk, which is where the email ended up being. Thanks.
Argh I got to the carbide create beta signup list somehow on my phone, but now at my laptop I can’t find it. Was it emailed? Searched emails to no avail. Could really use it for an incredibly simple engraving project today, of course.

Beta notes: in the Mac version it isn’t clear how delete elements, or how to use what you’ve made. Or maybe that’s not added yet. Moving things incrementally with arrow keys would also be very welcome.
