Carbide Create!

I’m desperate. I’ve used the basic version of carbide Create quite happily for about 2.5 years now but this morning decided to download a free trial version of Carbide Create Pro, v7, which I’ve now decided I don’t need yet. Part of the problem is that I cannot save designs as G code, and have a job that must be finished ASAP. I’ve entered the code I was sent time but I still cannot save jobs in G code, so I’ve unisntalled Carbide Create Pro twice, intending to revert to the simpler version. However, now every time I attempt to download the free version, it installs Carbide Create Pro.

Please, how can I get back to the good old simple Carbide Create?

Have you tried downloading V6 from here?

CC and CC pro are exactly the same program. If you want a version of CC (not pro) that can save GCode, you need version 6.

If you want the features of 7 and still have GCode in the non-pro version, you can take one extra step and extract the gcode from your c2d file on this web page: Extract GCode from Carbide Create V7. Or, you can load it into the newer versions of Carbide Motion and save the GCode there.
