Is there a list of known unsupported chipset or graphics cards? I recently picked up a new workbench laptop (older Lenovo P50) to use exclusively with my Shapeoko 5. I had done a fresh OS installation of Windows 11, updated the system and installed the latest Carbide Motion. Upon initializing the machine and loading a known working gcode file, I get an immediate crash with the Bugsplat prompt.
I have two other laptops (a Surface and a HP Elitebook) and confirmed that the latest software has no issue booting and loading the known gcode file, so I am inclined to believe it is related to the hardware in the laptop.
At the suggestion of other threads in the forum, I tried changing out my ram from 16GB to either 8GB or 24GB, but in both cases, I get the same crash. Tried to downgrade from Windows 11 to Windows 10 (fresh install) and get the same crash.
Going to continue experimenting, but I’m stuck at the moment. Machine is a Lenovo P50 with an i7-6700Q, 16GB of DDR4 and a Quadro M1000M GPU. There is no other software requirements other than Carbide Motion and the driver install, right?
