What can I do to keep Carbide Motion from making my laptop go into sleep mode even though it is set to never?
Motion doesn’t make your machine go to sleep. It’s got code in it that should prevent sleep from happening, but some computers are set up with aggressive sleep modes.
I checked my laptops settings before posting my question. I’ve watched my screen and it goes black while my machine is running its job.
I just checked my hibernate settings and updated them to never. It looks like that was the problem. Thanks.
As usual the computer/OS tries to help too much. Between all the bloatware and system settings most OS’s are just not really helping the average user. I see a growing number of stories about OEM computers moving to Linux. Even C3D is developing Linux solutions.
