Is it still possible to use Carbide motion with my Stepoko board?
I see people still using it, but I can’t get motion to detect my board.
Any help please?

No.
There used to be a Sparkfun activation code, but that was discontinued a while back.
You will need to use a different communication/control program such as bCNC, CNCjs, or Universal G-code Sender.
CM only works with Carbide3D machines. The Sparkfun does not work with CM. You could see if you could buy a C3D controller to make it work. Someone asked that question later and it might be possible. I remember Will Adams replied some connectors have to be changed.
You could sell the Sparkfun and buy a C3D machine. CNC machines are very salable.
The Sparkfun Stepoko is rather an odd thing — it was a Launch edition Shapeoko, in red, w/ an opensource controller — the problem is that Sparkfun quit making new boards/supporting it, and a complication is that while Carbide Motion used to support it using an Activation Code, current versions no longer do so.
Thank you for the reply. I will forget about Motion. On to Easel!
