If you have a spindle motor it’s relatively simple to get the Shapeoko’s controller to start / stop it.
Check out this write up I did when I added mine (note the details vary a bit depending on the brand of spindle motor)
And if you just wanted to turn on/off a regular router, this would also be possible - just need to add an IoT relay switch, something like this:
You need to have a little electrical hands on experience - but it’s not overly complicated.
