Lots of ideas were discussed in this thread a few weeks ago, and I think an update was thought to be a month or so away. I’m curious to know if it’s close? I’m putting off some machine mods until I know what a new version of CM might be capable of. Can we know? Thank you…

I doubt that anyone will provide you with a definite answer because I’m sure C3D wants to coordinate a product rollout but you can see where a near term product rollout is cryptically mentioned here. Another thread on CM user requirements from robgrz tells us that he is working on a new version of CM for an upcoming product announcement in the near future.
Sorry but my cristal ball does not provide accurate timeframe.
