Carving multiple layers

Hello all,

Used carbide create years ago, switched software, now I’m back. I have a multiple layer carve I need to do with several bits. How do I set up the individual tool paths/layers to be able to send to carbide motion to cut consecutively using the bit setter for bit changes? Or do I have to individually send each layer 1 at a time? Thanks in advance.

Is this what you are after?
@WillAdams answer is great.

You don’t really have to ‘do’ anything. As long as you have a BitSetter, just save all your toolpaths into one file and run it in CM. CC will mark each toolchange into the GCode, and CM will see that and prompt you for a tool change.

Ok, does it cut in order of the layer list or the tool path list?

I’ll have a look at it when I get home, I am carving a flag with stars, stripes, lettering, and state shape outline with different bit changes.

Carbide Create cuts the toolpaths in the order of the Toolpath list from top-to-bottom.
