CC/CM macOS Sonoma to Sequoia migration verification?

Has C3D and/or any user(s) verified that CC (Pro) and CM will continue to run without any issues when migrating from macOS Sonoma to Sequoia?

I’d like to know the answer to this as well. Anybody try Sequoia yet?

Still waiting for it to get pushed out to my 2020 MacBook Pro.

FWIW, I find the current naming convention difficult to keep track of — you’d think w/ an entire state to pull from they could have done an ordering which would make sense and make it easy to get 26 versions (use a gazetteer to find a likely place starting with A for the first release, and then move on to B, &c.) and then the process could have been repeated, and by the time they circled back to A the previous OS version which used that letter would have been long obsolete.

EDIT: One co-worker stated on team chat that this was working for them — just finished a backup, so my Mac is updating now — will post back on the results presently.

Both apps run fine on my MacBook Pro updated to 15.0.1

I’ve got an even better idea. . . use numbers. Makes you wonder how Apple became so successful. (And I’m an Apple user!) Several times a year I have to research the numerical equivalent of the OS to see if Im compatible.

They did that (and still do).

FWIW, the current major versions are numbered, and w/o the leading 10. which was somewhat confusing:

  • macOS 15 Sequoia
  • macOS 14 Sonoma
  • macOS 13 Ventura
  • macOS 12 Monterey
  • macOS 11 Big Sur

as well as:

  • macOS 10.15 Catalina
  • macOS 10.14 Mojave

which goes all the way back to September 24, 2018, and to stay on topic here, is all the Mac OS versions which the Carbide Create and Motion run on.

Thanks for the confirmation, Will, I appreciate it!
