Every time I press the import file button once CC is open I get this notification that CC has stopped working and the program closes. I have uninstalled, restarted, and re-installed several times. I thought it was because my machine was running W7 but I now have W10 (I upgraded to run CC lol) and I’m getting the exact same issue. Help would be much appreciated (I’m not a computer wiz and troubleshooting software makes me want to gouge my eyeballs out).
Carbide3D has been able to reproduce a similar bug that I found in CC Pro. While trying to reproduce Winston’s topographic model tutorial, I loaded a greyscale heightmap image that caused CC Pro to instantly crash. This would happen every time, unless I first changed the project’s resolution.
You might want to give this a try to see if it’s the same issue causing your crash. Either way, be sure to send a note to support@carbide3d.com.
