CC Issue: Arc text setting lost when copying elements with tool path to another file

I think I’ve found an issue in CC where arc’ed text will lose the arc settings, when you copy-paste between files if tool paths exist in the source file.

The copied element does not need to include the arc’ed text; can be any element in the design.

I was able to reproduce the issue with the following steps (I’m not certain which steps may not be relevant to this issue - this is what I did when I was able to reproduce the issue):

  1. Added text to a blank new file, “Test Text” and put it on an arc
  2. Created a circle around the outside of the text, then an offset within that to make a donut shape with the text within the ring.
  3. Created a pocket tool path within the donut, so the text was in relief.
  4. Saved the file.
  5. Created a duplicate file with Save-as.
  6. From the Design tab, copied the center circle
  7. From the File menu, selected Open Recent - the original file
  8. Prompted to save changes - Saved.
  9. Original file opened, pasted middle circle in random location and copied it.
  10. Opened the Copy file (saving the original on exit as prompted)
  11. In the copied file, the “Text Text” was no longer on an arc.
  12. Returned to the original file and the “Text Text” had also lost the arc settings.

Not that anyone will care, but here’s the environment info:

Carbide Create v757
Mac OS Ventura 13.5.2
MacBook Pro (M1), 16GB

I did care…I tried but was unable to reproduce the issue. I did not do EXACTLY your steps, so I have to go back and try those precisely. I’m on Win 10; also running `757

LOL - Sorry, on reread, that does sounds more defeatist than I meant it to be.

Thanks for trying to recreate the issue.
