I finally loaded CM653 this weekend primarily because of the Restart Program function. However, when I load a program saved under CC831, I get a strange set of tool descriptions in the Info Preview → Info tab. However, that same file which was written in an earlier version of CC (written on 6/15/26) displays the correct info. This happens on both our XXL and HDM machines. The tool databases for the recently saved files are the default databases which are embedded in CC831.
Granted that the tool number is correct. However, there appears to be an attempt to augment that tool number with a short description. For example, when a filé written under CC831 is loaded:
#102 - .102 End Mill .1.8… Under 2 min
#302 - .302 Vee .60.0 degrees. 2 min
When the 6/15/25 file is loaded I see:
#102 Under 2 min
#302 2 min
