Change bitsetter position CM

Hi,

I’m on CM 635 and I notice that my cutter no longer aligns with the center of my bitsetter.

I have two questions:

  • Is it normal that I have this offset? I think it’s due to the use of my CNC.

  • How do I reset the coordinates of my bitsetter in CM? I can’t find the option.

Thanks a lot

Ideally it would be perfectly centered — a crash or shift in position of a homing switch can change this though.

If the machine is mechanically sound and square then re-do the Machine Setup Wizard:

Thank you William,

Do you know, how can I change the position in CM ?

Thank you !

My understanding is that one first moves to the default position, then jogging is enabled, then one can move to the BitSetter and set the position there — if that doesn’t work, check in w/ support.

Although I’m sure this is not the correct way to make an adjustment one could open the shapeoko.json file with a text editor and make a minor adjustment to these two lines:
