We look at integrating a DXF and STL here:

Working up toolpaths for a guitar body from an STL or DXF

as requested on support… Given a guitar body design as an STL: [image] and a DXF: [image] We import each: [image] [image] and look into how the imported geometry and 3D model work out for making toolpaths.

That said, it should just work to prepare the stock in one file, then in a second drop in the STL, do the roughing and finishing pass for one side, then flip, then cut the other side, no DXF necessary.
