CM 654 not responding often

Hi all, this problem started a few days ago. I am finding Carbide motion very slow to open, and much of the time when I am trying to get work done on it, it shows not responding in the top left corner by Carbide Motion 654. Is there a new version to update to? Does anyone have tips to possibly solve the problem? It is only CM that does this, no other programs or apps. Computer exceeds requirements

Mac OS or Windows?

Have you tried the standard computer troubleshooting techniques of rebooting, checking for updates, shutting down, restarting, and verifying that there are no pending updates?

I am using Windows 11. Ive checked for updates many times and even removed and reinstalled CM. The computer is updated/restarted 2 or 3 times daily. I am using Vcarve pro 12.5 and did the new update. This problem existed before that update

Are you seeing excessive memory usage outside of CM ?
Does the Task manager show anything weird ?
I use the MS PC Manager daily to clear debris, seems to help.

Please go to the Start Menu and type “sysinfo” and run the System Information tool and save the output from it using your last and first name in .txt format and send it in to support@carbide3d.com and we will try to look into this with you there.

Try disabling bluetooth before starting up Motion. I have to disable it every time I run Motion, then it runs fine. I’m running a Dell Inspiron 16 w/Windows 11 & 32gb ram. Carbide says my issue in Windows 11 and how it’s interacting with Bluetooth.

Well I’ll be …that’s what it was. That sucks that windows would have interference with the bluetooth.

Problem solved. Thanks Yosh
