CNC Drawer Organizer

Made this to organize my CNC drawer, pretty happy with how it came out. There are several different hole sizes, and a bunch of extra holes to accommodate future bits.

I sized the label pockets to perfectly fit .5” x 1.75” return address labels, which are cheap and easy to use:

The tray can be lifted to reveal other tools beneath it. I designed it specifically so the tools don’t fall out when it’s tipped up like this.

Here’s a fun time lapse video of the process:

I would add a couple of handles to lift it up.
I am a label freak. I use banker boxes to hold like items and label them with stick on labels that are printed. The banker boxes stack well and are not so big you will over load them.

Very nice.

Do you like that numpad, is it wired or wireless?

I’ve tried one bluetooth in the past, but for some reason it was pretty laggy so jogging wasn’t very reliable. Haven’t tried another since then

I do like it. It’s wireless, but uses a little dongle, instead of bluetooth. I got the one that was recommended on this very forum a while ago, in this thread, I think: Simple wireless remote control for Carbide Motion - #7 by vkopr
