I was inspired by this thread:
I make segmented bowls on the lathe, and borrowed Frank’s idea to prove the concept of using the Shapeoko to make inlays in the side of the finished bowl. I also designed a logo to sign my work using my JTech laser. The bowl is 4"x9".
Here is the jig for holding the bowl level on the CNC for carving the pockets (more clamps used for the actual work, but you get the idea).
