Instead of having a nut custom made, perhaps you need to by the one from amazon and find a person to dynamically balance the nut. just another means of thinking about the problem. I found several on a web search- if its good for a space rocket, then it should work for you needs.

After cross-threading the nut I went to Amazon and got this: uxcell ER16-A(M19) Type Collet Clamping Hex Nuts for CNC Milling Chuck Holder Lathe. It is actually a about 1/8" deeper so very much less likely to cross-thread again. I got 2 just in case. Works like a charm.
