Comment card holder for daughter's wedding

I made this guest comment card holder for my daughter’s upcoming wedding.
1.5" walnut, oil and paste wax finish.
Cut on my used 3XXL.
I will be turning a pair of pens to go with it soon.

Wow, that looks fantastic! What bit and settings did you use for those pen holders to get them so rounded?

I just used a standard 1/2" 2-flute round nose router bit. I don’t remember the settings right off-hand, but I can check them this evening and post them. I then used a 1/8" endmill to clean up the flat on the bottom of the grooves.
