Computer troubles

I had a windows 10 upgraded from a 8, I bought a new computer with windows 11 on it and my pro will not operate. It initializes but that it. I try to jog it moved 1 inch and that’s it. Can anyone tell me what might be going on please?

Setting Grbl Configuration in CM 517 and later

Carbide Motion 517 uses a new system for setting Travel Dimensions which is potentially confusing: [image] Pressing the Load Defaults button takes one to a window which allows one to select first machine size: [image] and then Z-axis type: [image] after which selection the Travel Dimensions for the selections made are entered into the dialog and will be preserved if one clicks “Ok” (and of course that change discarded if one selects “Cancel”). When you load Carbide Motion to a new machine you must send the configuration. Primarily you are configuring Carbide Motion. The machine already knows what it is but the config sets up CM to know what kind of machine it is talking to.
