I’ve written a guide on how to convert your pi to a read only file system running CNCJS. This lets you power the pi on and off without having to do any sort of proper shutdown, uses RAM instead of an SDCard for temporary file storage (I’m getting around 100MB/S) and prevents any sort of write wear on your SDCard basically turning the whole setup into a more industrial controller. The whole process should take under 30 minutes and I’ve made it copy and paste. Enjoy!
