Assuming a 1/8" tool will work we use Offset Vectors to inset by 0.0625":

and then repeat this process twice with slightly different values:

Then we repeat the process on the other side of the cut:
and then again to the inside:
which finally yields a design which may be cut both internally (to make a pocket) and along the outside (to make a part which fits)
One minor issue is that there is no application of a gap — how much of a gap is needed is a matter which will require a bit of testing:
First, a toolpath to see the part as it stands:
Then, if one has Carbide Create Pro it is possible to assign an Inside Contour Path and experiment with the Stock to Leave setting:
which will show the gap which would be left with an inset of that dimension — experiment until one gets what looks to be a reasonable fit and make a test cut:
and then inset by that dimension:
and use the two geometries to make the cuts.
