I would like the ability to have a user generated list of different points (X & Y) on the table that with 1 press, will move the head to it.
For instance, I have 1 position that in almost every project is the bottom/left point. Would be nice to be able to make button press and have the head move to it. The list would have to be versatile enough to be able to store and label multiple points.

Have you tried using Quick Actions to set up such positions?
“Create from Current Zero” when at such a position should work as you wish.
