Curious about Power Pendant

I just set up my SP5 4x2. I have done the drawing and the contour Hello World jobs and am even more excited now about getting this machine.

I am curious about the Power Pendant. I know what the big red Emergency Stop button is for and it works as expected. But the small round button does not seem to do anything when I press it. Does it have a function?

The smaller button should be feed-hold (pause).
