I’ve never liked that the wiring runs through the control box cover & that when you remove it you’re moving wires. So, I created a custom cover. Now the wiring runs through stationary end brackets & the cover can be removed without affecting wiring. I also extended it & added terminal blocks for my feed hold & spindle control. I’ll run 18/2 SPT cord through strain reliefs & out to where they need to go.

Very cool. I don’t remove the cover very often, but when I do I curse at the stock design that makes it hard to do any cable management without unplugging everything. Your design is very clean, personally I would probably do a terrible job at cutting/bending metal sheets, so I have considered going the 3D printed route, as in this example.
