Customizing an antique

Hello folks!
I recently finished up a project for a friend of my father in law. All he wanted was a new top on a vintage singer sewing machine cabinet so he could give it to his granddaughter to use as a desk.
When i got my hands on it however, I decided to do a few more thing to it. One of my favorite details was getting rid of the “SINGER” logo in the cast iron base and replacing it with his last name.
I used Carbide Create and my Shapeoko to cut out new letters. Came out really cool and blew his mind since he wasn’t expecting it at all!

I have a video on the entire project which you can see here:

If you want to jump to the name part only, i work on it at approximately the 22minute and 26minute marks.

Thanks for looking/watching!
