Cutting board inlay SD

Customer request on this one. I was a little apprehensive on the small inlay and was wondering if this thing is going to stand up to light kitchen duty. Anyone have any success/failure stories I should be aware of?

I made this board for a friend.

He let his thanksgiving turkey rest on the inlay side and the heat from the turkey cause some of the inlays to pop out.

Doesn’t really apply to your specific scenario, but thought I’d share any ways.
