*Definitive* guide to moving to Fusion 360 CAM?

(Scott) #1

Just got screwed again by Meshcam bugs, so I’m moving to Fusion 360, where I do my modeling anyway.

There are several questions on this, but is there a definitive guide to using the Nomad with Fusion 360? I found the tool set to import for the standard Carbide set, but I hit a snag with some conflicting (or missing) information. (the latest Meshcam bug was “ghost” machining regions.)

We have a very basic page on this at: https://docs.carbide3d.com/software-faq/fusion360/ which has a link to a discussion here — @wmoy uses it.

Some videos which may help:

There is not much specific to using the Nomad with F360. I have learned a lot from the YouTube channels
