Dennis did it again (and again)

Catching up on my YT notifications, and I missed two incredible vids from @DennisVanHoof that I just HAVE to share just in case anyone did not hear of his work yet.

Meanwhile, I’m making trivets, lol

I’ve subscribed to his channel rather recently… mind blowing projects!

I don’t need incredible projects to blow my mind. I’m doing that with ‘simple’ boxes!

Everytime I have an uneventful cutting session I nearly break my arm patting myself on the back.

Pure coincidence, but there’s a new Makers Garage podcast episode with Dennis as a special guest

I saw the violin video. Incredible. In addition to being wow-ed, I picked up a few tips. There is a lot of chatter on the forum about two-sided milling and I’ve seen a lot of elaborate methods for alignment, but Dennis has a very simple “lock-and-key” method that to me seems very effective. Perhaps someone has already posted this method, but it seems worth mentioning again. The method is simple and will cost you some waste board, but looks fast and easy. He goes beyond two-sided milling. He did 4-sided carving for the scroll on the violin!

I plan on trying it out for some two sided milling.
