I know that I have to be missing something here, but I cannot find a depth per pass setting for the 3D finish tool path. I have done some searching on the forum without finding any information and was wondering if anyone could give me a little help. My machine is digging too deep, and it starts to lose steps.

A finishing pass by definition makes one cut at the final depth — make sure to leave no more material at the roughing pass than the next tool can remove, if using successively smaller tools make sure that you are not skipping sizes.
