I have had the Shapeoko Pro for about a year now and use it for many different products. I have created a few designs in carbide create but am not a pro at it.
I am wondering if there is anyone out there I can pay to create a few more of the difficult logos for me instead of me wasting so much time on the design.
I am in Minnesota.
Thanks,
Steve
There are a number of sites which specialize in “freelance graphic design” as a quick search will turn up.
The no commerce clause here precludes folks negotiating this in forum posts.
Naturally, if you want help with a design, let us know and we will do our best to assist.
Not sure how that worked. I will check out that option.
Thanks
Random question as I learn how these forums work. By “no commerce”, I presume that means someone can’t negotiate a purchase or sale of their goods or services? So, if I made cutting boards, I can’t post a link to them for sale, or I can’t offer to run someone’s CNC job on my machine for a fee?
What if I posted a 3D model model I had on Cults3D or Makerworld that was available for purchase? Is that the same? TBC, no issue with the policy, just trying to learn.
This is in the ToS:
https://community.carbide3d.com/tos
- No commercial activity.
The expectation is folks will talk about using our machines and software — if you showed a project made from a commercial file, disclosed that it was for sale, and then gave folks the link when asked (preferably via PM) that should be okay for example.
The other 6* rules should cover it.
* Yes, strictly speaking there are only 6 in total.
Wow. This is the first time I’ve actually read the TOS! My apologies for violating the first two rules all these years! ![]()
