While waiting for my Shapeoko Pro thought i would try and make a dial gauge holder for my Shapeoko 3.
Used a 3/4 by 12 inch piece of scrap cherry and a 1/4 inch long cut router bit for the router mount.
Drilled 1/4 hole for the mount and 3/8 holes to mount the dial gauges. A little bit of filing on the holes but everything a tight fit. Thought i would have to epoxy everything but it all fits nice and tight.

Mounted and tried it out and found out it’s too high to pass under the X carriage when I rotate it. Might have worked OK if I did not have the T Slot kit mounted on top of my spoil board.
Anyone have a design that works for this?
