is it possible to disable the bit setter on a Shapeoko pro and use the traditional z probe methods?
Also on my shapeoko 3 i save each operation as a gcode file. can i still do this if i HAVE a bit setter.
im considering getting a PRO so im doing some research.

Yes, clear the checkbox for the BitSetter to temporarily disable it — be sure to set the Z-axis after.
