I generally use the spoil board as my z zero and probably over the last 3 or 4 weeks after I set x and y then go over and set z as soon as press done in CM immediately it says connect to machine,you can hear cut off.Happens about every second time.Fortunately the machine Rombers my settings,so it’s really an annoying issue.Using current CM

Do you have a different computer to try?
Sorry Will should have said Mac book air m2,there are no other issues running CM. It’s almost like a loose connection when disconnecting but it happens every time I set the z.Not every time,so I dismiss this,checked all connections etc.Its just a slightly annoying issue.
Do you have a non-M-chip Mac to try? Or a Windows computer?
Hi Will I have neither but next week we have some visitors so I might ask nicely and try his windows one.
