DIY Upgrading Bitzero V1 to V2

Just thought I would share this. I designed it on tinkercad. If some of you are like me and have a bitzero V1 and don’t want to pay a bunch of money for a V2 but like the idea of not having to select the bit size from the drop down menu every single time you can print this and piggy back it onto your V1 and it works great. Or if you already have a V2 but also made yourself a DIY Bitsetter then you can use this so you never have to remember to put the real bitzero back in its holder. Just leave it in there and use this and you will never mangle the DIY bitsetter button as the bit smashes through it because you forgot to put the bitzero back in the holder.

This is not a complete replacement, you need to have an existing bitzero so that you get the best results. All the bitzero really does is connect the circuit to ground (via the ground clip on the bit) once it touches but the OEM bitzero has debouncing circuitry inside that makes it more reliable and this just piggybacks off of the existing circuitry inside the bitzero you already own so no fancy electronics are needed.

Seems I can’t post the link to printables but the file is on there as Shapeoko Bitzero V1 to V2 upgrade.
