Does Anyone Know What This Means?

Not sure what this means. LEDKeeper2 stopped working.

You wouldn’t have a MSI motherboard or graphics card by any chance?

After googling it, I would nuke it if I found it on my pc. LEDKeeper2.exe Windows process - What is it?

My laptop is a MSI. I spoke via text with Loren B. and I was told the same thing. He sent me a copy of what someone had said a while back about the LEDKeeper2. It says it is not needed for anything so I’m going to get rid of it and see if it helps my issue.

My computer is an MSI. I’m going to do like everyone is telling me and remove the LEDKeeper2 from my computer.

Removed LEDKeeper2 and still having the same issue. I’m lost. I’m going to just have to take it in I guess.

I am no tech wizard. (Disclaimer)

When I run into situations as such, I run Malwarebytes. If it still persists, I run it from DOS before Windows boots.

This has helped me in the past, although I do not recall ever having LEDkeeper2 as a problem.

Best of luck.

Check to see if you have MSI Dragon Center installed. I think that will be the program that handles a bunch of other MSI programs that get installed. It may actually be reinstalling LEDKeeper2 after you remove it.
Good Luck

Is MalwareBytes a program I buy? I’m definitely not a tech wizard.

Malwarebytes has a free version that I use. You can buy their premium version as well.
When you first install you get a full trial version. I just let it laps and it will automatically drop down to the free version.

Ok, I appreciate it. I’ll look into it when I get home. Thank you.

It’s looking like my issue was I was using a beta version of CC. I didn’t have a chance after work but tomorrow I’m going to try the build I started with just to make sure. Being computer challenged and new to CNC, the updates, beta and all the lingo is basically French to me. I appreciate everyone’s help and patience.

A Beta Version, is usually a new or updated version of a software package that has just been released for user testing. Betas of all kinds can be risky, as they may be unstable and have features missing. It’s always worth backing up your data and learning how to revert to the old, stable version of the S/W, before you use these programs. Even after the full newer version of a S/W package has been released there may be bugs and i tend to stay away from them. My motto has always been if it aint broke dont fixit. I never upgrade S/W just for the sake of having the latest version unless there are new features i cant do without. Just my opinion.

Please note that the v7 beta should install in parallel w/ v6 on Windows (on Mac the user is responsible for renaming the previous version by the version #)

I was originally using build 648. I downloaded 714 to use the keyhole function. Then 719 for the fix to change keyhole length. It shows on my desktop as having V6 and another icon for V7. I’m going to see today if V6 gives me any of the issues I was having with V7. That way I’m guessing I’ll know if it is due to it being beta or if it is a computer issue. The guy from support that called me yesterday was very helpful, especially considering my lack of knowledge of computers and all things technology.
