Door pops open while machining

This should be an easy one.

On my Nomad 3, the door wiggles open during cuts.

Has anyone come up with a clever latch to hold it shut? I’m just putting a small c-clamp outside the sensor for now.

A small strip of tape along the edge has worked for me for many years. Just by the magnetic switch to stop it jiggling.

Tod’s suggestion is basically what have basically implemented on all Nomad’s going back several months. Does your Nomad have a small magnet mounted above the door interlock switch? If you do and its not working, that’s good feedback for us. If not, I think an off the shelf magnetic catch is a decent idea. Friction via tape, or some rubber edge trim can help as well, as Nikolai pointed out.

Mine does not have that catch over the sensor, but will soon!
