I like double sided endmills, such as the link below, which I use in an R8 collet machine. Can the Makita router tolerate these and keep enough depth of engagement to be stable?

As much as I like the idea of multi-function tools, I wouldn’t be willing to risk that.
Sorry WIll, but use them often, and never had a problem, but unless you have no other choice, McMaster prices are (about) 25-50% higher than ebay (toolman1)…or Banggood.
I have fitted them in my Makita nicely, most (not all) of the smooth shank is engaged in the collet.
